The Oklahoma Academic Coaches Association was started for the purpose of formalizing a network for academic coaches throughout the state.
The Association provides a newsletter, a fall coaches conference, and All-State competition and recognition.
High School academic team coaches are eligible for membership. Middle school, junior high and elementary coaches are eligible for associate membership which entitles them to all the privileges of membership with the exception of nominating students for All-State recognition.

Sharon Calvert-McKee of Snyder and Anita Hughes of Drummond were the winners of the ACE Quizbowl Camp certificates.
The OACA is funded through annual membership dues.
