The Oklahoma Road Rally is an on school site activity. After the class or group completes the research they will answer questions through an online multiple choice competition. The research packet includes detailed and specific instructions for the competition.

Research

The research packets become available on October 29. The packet contains questions about Oklahoma divided into several different categories. Some questions are common Oklahoma knowledge. Some questions will require creative problem solving skills to discover the answers. Students may work on the research materials individually or as a team. The students will be given several months to work on the research portion of the competition.

Competition

A multiple choice online competition culminates the research portion of the competition. Students may use their completed research to answer the questions on the online quiz.

Winners

Plaques will be awarded to both the winning and runner-up teams in the research/online competitions at each of the three levels.

The Oklahoma Road Rally utilizes many subject areas. Using maps and research materials, students will use language arts, geography, geology, history, and even a few mathematics skills
