Upper Elementary
UEL Teams are assigned to area groups after the enrollment period has ended. As teams enroll, they will be added to the column on the left. If you have submitted your enrollment and your team is not listed let me know!
The Upper Elementary Academic Bowl (UEL) series includes three round robin tournaments. All schools play in both the district (1st tournament) and regional (2nd tournament). The top 4 teams advance to the Area Championship. Teams not advancing to area will have the opportunity to play in a Phoenix Tournament.
Schools will be added to the participating list from received enrollment. The list will be updated weekly.
Pairings will be posted once enrollment has been completed, around September 30. Online planning meetings will begin on October 5. The planning meeting date and time will be posted online. Coaches will also receive an e-mail about the online meeting with specific instructions on how to log into the site.
The first tournament, District, may be held anytime between November 1 and the end of the first semester. Regional will be held between January 2 and February 11. Area and Phoenix tournaments will be after February 11. Participating schools for each group will make date, time and location decisions during the planning meeting.
ENTRY FEE $105 per team - fee covers all tournaments and includes 8 certificates, 8 Regional stickers & 8 Area or Phoenix stickers per team.
