Students in Blue are the Team Oklahoma members for 2008.

The second round of try-outs - the buzzer round - will be Sunday , December 9, 2007 at the Oklahoma School of Science & Mathematics, Oklahoma City.
For each area - the winning student will become a member of Team Oklahoma. The student placing second, will have the opportunity to compete in the “wildcard” round.

The results are in!! 91 students took the initial exam. 50 had positive scores and 26 made the buzzer round.
The overall results will mail on Monday, November 26.

*What is On-Deck ??? If a student has qualified in more than one area, once they make the team, they will not participate in subsequent areas. That leaves an open seat and the first on deck individual will be seated for that competition. On deck will also be used if a student that has qualified chooses not to come to the buzzer round.  the 2nd on deck in Humanities and Social Studies will sit if we seat 2 of the top 8 during the mathematics or science round.


If the student placing second in an area subsequently wins another area, the wild card slot will be filled by the student placing 3rd in the vacated subject area.
